Readiness notice: Completing a lesson package does not automatically establish road-test readiness. Readiness is based on demonstrated driving performance and instructor assessment. Additional lessons may be recommended. Simmons Driving School does not guarantee that a learner will pass a government examination.
The $175 Refresher and Examination Preparation Service provides focused practical preparation. Examination-vehicle services are selected separately according to the support required.
Practical instruction and examination support do not guarantee that a learner will pass a government examination.
Teen learners can combine structured road-safety education, Theory Prep and practical preparation through an approved delivery arrangement.
Do not wait until test day to discover whether you are ready. SDS recommends a minimum two-hour Road-Test Preparation Session followed by a mock driving examination.
Practise observation, signalling, steering, turning, lane positioning, speed control, junctions, roundabouts and safe decision-making in real traffic.
During the mock examination, your instructor gives directions and assesses your driving with minimal assistance. The result identifies weaknesses, builds independence and helps you manage nervousness.
Important: Two hours is the recommended minimum—not a guarantee of readiness. Additional lessons may be recommended after your mock examination.
